After many years of work, a collaborative article between Leslie and scientists from Michigan State University and Iowa State shows the negative impacts of insecticides in general and neonicotinoids in particular. The study was published in PlosOne and also featured in the NY Times! I was also interviewed (along with Scott Black of the Xerces Society) on a local NPR radio show. This study was one of the most comprehensive (if I do say so myself), examining the effects of six classes of pesticides, weather, and land-use change.
